Body Massage.

The healing art of massage dates back to before Roman times and works the soft tissue and muscles of the body using the hands. Massage can be used for a variety of reasons; for many it helps manage specific physical tension and pain, whilst reducing the effects of emotional and mental stresses on the mind, giving a sense of peace and tranquillity.

The benefits of massage include:

• Reduction in stress.

• Improvement in mood disturbance.

• Aids sleep.

• Improvement in ability to cope.

Massage can be tailored to suit the needs of the individual and can be given either at the bedside, in a chair or in our therapy room. Massage can also be given using essential oils (please see aromatherapy page)  

                       How long will it take?

A full body massage last 1 hour. A back and shoulder massage will last about half an hour. Please allow 15mins for a consultation.
